This is a new great project for the refrigeration of a food product logistic centre in which Stefani has played a leading role by supplying 16 industrial evaporators to control the temperature of that centre.
It is a logistic centre in Santiago de Chile for the distribution of fresh and frozen food products that is directly managed by DHL.
The system that regulates and controls the centre temperature ensuring products are conserved at their best has been designed and developed by Refricentro, a Chilean partner with which Stefani has already worked in a large number of refrigeration and cooling projects in the South American country.
Inside the DHL logistic centre in Santiago, 11 Stefani SHIP direct-expansion industrial evaporators have been installed. The evaporators work both in the chambers for fresh food products and in the cold rooms for frozen products. Therefore, different types of configurations had to be selected in order to meet the different requirements.
Other 5 Stefani SHCP-series commercial evaporators have been used in the loading and unloading areas in order to keep such areas at a controlled temperature.
